Dinner party and participatory performance, various duration.
Dinner, again is a series of dinner parties unfurling from the setting of the archival work The Family Dinner, enactments that once again unravel and entangle, slip and spill, break and become. As a participatory performance, the audience members are also asked to choose a historical or contemporary female character to bring to the dinner party. The level of embodiment is optional and the visitors can move in and out of character throughout the dinner, but each participant is asked to bring a text, work or creation of some kind by their character and at some point share this with the rest of the group. Throughout the dinner, guests can write, draw, make stains with food or wine, or in other ways engage with the table cloth as a surface documenting the dialogues taking place. During the dinner, a family photo is also taken, which is later shared with participants. Virginia Woolf, performed by Hanna Wildow, hosts the dinner.
