Idyll was a non-profit queer feminist organization and art collective, founded in 2006 by Hanna Wildow, Elin Sandström Lundh, Emy Bäcklin and Carin Göransson. Idyll aimed to challenge norms and power structures, to create debate within and outside of queer feminist communities, and to stimulate for new spaces and spheres for emerging artists and queer feminist activism. Idyll created places and spaces to come together, transboundary networks and communities providing possibilities for collaboration and inspiration. Throughout the years the collective organized countless events, exhibitions, seminars, workshops, film festivals, dance parties and a blog.
